I have one week to prepare for three on the road and even though I've been doing this touring thing for 10 years now, getting ready to go still manages to be quite the production for me. Last-minute emails, last-minute printing and mailing of the postcards, last-minute cd ordering and shipping, last-minute deal-shopping for rental cars and hotels along the way, last-minute email newsletters (ahem) ... you get the picture. The big pay-off for all this stress and scramble is seeing your smiling faces at the shows. I'm covering a lot of territory in the coming two months.
